This is the best store bought milk ! Especially since it's grass fed cows. I love love love it for the fact that Walmart is a terrible store and doesn't take expired items off the shelf. That's another problem altogether that has nothing to do with horizon and this milk in particular it should never taste spoiled. I would recommend folks be very cautious when opening their milk when purchased from Walmart. This milk is delicious and I highly recommend it anywhere. You can find it and to avoid Walmart when possible.

the taste was delicious and i had no issues wiht experation date. That is a real issue  walmart orders. I have noticed over time that soem organic brands are not being honest. They say this is Vitamin D milk but its 10% RDV of Vitamin D per serving...what did they add?

horizon is getting bad

year old mother had some milk a day after I bought it and noticed it was bad, her caregiver dumped it down the drain. I would have returned it. Very expensive milk to get it rotten.

Milk has an odd taste sort like it is beginning to spoil. Purchased it several times. Strange taste. Will not buy it again.

Do not buy

This should have been removed from the store two weeks ago when it expired, instead it was delivered to my house with my grocery order. Sides of the carton are bulging. So gross. Don't even want to open to or it out. Very disappointing

Two weeks past expiration

Either this milk is just odd and different tasting that regular organic whole milk, or it was soured when I received it. The date was Nov 29th on both cartons I had purchased but it just had a twangy taste. 🤢 $12 down the drain 🫥 also, the cartons seemed swollen before I opened them as if it were soured.

Sour???

purchased in 1028, opened on 10/30.  expiration 12/14.
sour,  smelled horrible,  ruined cereal i poured it on for both kids before i realized what the horrible smell was... disgusting.   might as well buy cheap off brand milk.

the milk is usually good but it must have been left out for a long time during delivery because the milk was completely sour when I opened it even though the expiration date wasn't for another month (october 6th). This has happend a couple times to me now but this time was by far the worst.

I don't know if the issue is truly with horizon or Walmarts handling, but all three of my children drink this milk, and we've never had issue. 11/2 I opened a new carton, bought on Halloween I believe and my 1 year old he didn't want any after a few sips. Not really thinking there was anything wrong with the milk I give my 5 year old a cup half an hour later and she starts gagging. Sniffed the milk and took a sip I'm not sure hour my 1 year old managed to take a few sips. Expiration Dec 14, 2023.
